Health

Mum and Dad have both been fed a healthy diet with a healthy mix of fresh food and kibble and have long daily walks in the fields behind our house to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. Pups have started weaning and are growing fast and learning to explore their environment. They have been given lots of mental stimulation with toys and activities while also being able to run around to enhance their physical development. Pups have a quiet pen where they can sleep as much as they need which is crucial for their development.

Behaviour and socialisation

Our pups live in a busy household with Mum, Dad and canine Uncle and are used to a daily household routine with lots of noise and activity. They have learnt how to use puppy pads and have been introduced to the garden to do their business and explore. Pups sleep in a quiet pen reserved for them and mum when she visits but are allowed out to explore and play. They have toys and other activities to keep them distracted as well as lots of interactions with humans so they are confident.

Home environment

Pups are reared at home and live in our busy house with our other dogs. They are used to the noise of our busy home and have adapted well to daily routines of our household.

What's included?

The law says all puppies must be microchipped and registered by the age of eight weeks. Breeders should pass the paperwork on to you so you can check that the details on the database are correct. If you move or change your phone number do remember to update the records.

Pups from this litter are vet checked, and the breeder will pass the details onto you.

This paperwork should contain all vaccination records and clear instructions on any future vaccinations and worming etc. They should also tell you how best to socialise your dog while minimising the risk of infectious diseases.

This can become a comfort blanket to remind the pup of their mum and littermates - it may help some dogs adjust to a new home. Don't wash it!

This breeder provides food for the first few days. It will help to keep the pup on the same diet as they get used to their new home, then you can gradually change it should you wish to use something different. It's a good idea to discuss diet and how you might change it before pick up day.

Included Extra Details

We will also supply some links and information on good reading material if this is your first puppy and support if you need while they settle in with you.

About the breeder

My bio

We are a family of 5 who have grown up with dogs as part of our household. We live in a lovely village where our dogs get to run in the fields and play with neighbouring dogs.

What makes you a good breeder?

We spend lots of time with the pups and mum helping them through each phase and making sure they are in the best of health well cared for and able to learn as much as possible.

How did you get into breeding?

By accident! Two of our dogs got together and this is the result. The experience has been incredible from helping deliver to those precious first cuddles, the first noises, the first steps...a really wonderful experience.

What attracts you to Tailwise?

We want our babies to find a home where they will be cared for and have an enjoyable future going on adventures, Tailwise offered the opportunity for us to match our pups and give buyers the confidence they are buying properly reared pups from a loving home, not a puppy farm which was always a terrifying prospect when we bought our dogs.
