This elegant and light footed sighthound of the Middle East was originally used to hunt hare, fox and gazelle over difficult terrains.
Someone who feels the need for speed. While the Greyhound is credited as being the fastest dog up to distances of around 800m, the Saluki is thought to be faster over longer distances and has tremendous stamina.
Anyone who wants to play ball. The Saluki doesn't tend to enjoy rough games or activities such as fetch. They much prefer the company of soft toys.
