This herding dog of Tibet was brought to the UK in the 1930s. The Tibetan name for the breed – Tsang Apso – roughly translates as 'shaggy' or 'bearded'.
Anyone who loves the look of a shaggy dog. Fully grown, the Tibetan Terrier resembles a small Bearded Collie.

Medium (About an hour)
Doesn't have to be a solid hour, you can give them lots of short walks.
Long almost human hair
Luscious long outer locks that need lots of attention and a soft undercoat that will get knotty if not combed out.
Doesn't moult much
But all dogs shed dander so if you're allergic, make sure you'll be ok

Complete an application for your breed choice(s) in just a few easy steps. You’ll be be notified when a potential match is found and we’re ready to review your application.
Match with a breeder
Upon completing your introduction call a breeder will review your application. If successful you’ll be able to arrange a meeting and be accepted onto their waiting list. A Tailwise fee of £95 (excl. VAT) will be due at the point you pay a deposit.
